How to Survive Gym Classff

In school, most people take physical education whether they want to or not. If you find yourself sweaty, embarrassed, and/or tired after and/or during gym, read these suggestions.
Method 1 of 4: Sweat
If you get sweaty during your gym class, then you are doing it right! The whole point of gym is to break a sweat.
Sweat bothers some people as they worry about the sweat having an odor too. If that is the case with you, remember to shower  before and after gym. You can also wipe the sweat off with some baby wipes or Wet Wipes.
Learn to Avoid Sweating Too Much.
Learn to Eliminate Body Odor.
Put deodorant and strong smelling perfume/cologne in your locker, but remember, that these items will only disguise the smell, and may even make it worse.
Remember to breathe while you are exercising. This makes your heart go rapidly, but eliminates some sweating.
Wear clean clothing. Old sweat stains will re-ignite when you exercise in them a second time, so be sure to wash your sweaty clothes.
Method 2 of 4: Embarrassed
Figure out why you are embarrassed, perhaps you are afraid you will smell too much, perhaps you don't think you are that good at gym, perhaps you are worried about falling and people laughing at you, or perhaps you find being in gym settings with stranger embarrassing in and of itself.
Understand that other people are embarrassed for the same reasons you are.Learn to love yourself no matter what the context or class you are in.
When new to a class it is easy to get embarrassed, try these techniques to get used to a new class.
Ignore everyone else. If they laugh at you, they are probably just trying to boost their low self-esteem. Don't give them the satisfaction of a response.
Enjoy gym. You have to be there, so you might as well find something to like. You may not be athletic, you may hate football, or whatever, but there are many sports and things you can do in a gym. Don't be embarrassed to find an activity you like. You might be surprised; once you learn to like something you might start to enjoy gym more than you did.
Learn to deal with the competitive nature of sports.
Method 3 of 4: Tired
Get enough sleep. Exercise will make you tired anyway, but if you don't have enough sleep, you will become very tired indeed. How much sleep you need depends on many factors.
Eat healthy foods. A good nutritional diet can give you extra energy for physical activity.
Exercise will make you tired while you are doing it but in the short and long term exercise is one of the most effective and natural ways to increase your energy level.
Try keeping a protein bar or something like an energy drink in your locker.
Method 4 of 4: Swimming
If your class does swimming lessons, don't worry! Simply change in a shower stall for privacy and don't act like it's drama class.
If you get your monthly don't worry! Use tampons because they do NOT make you lose your virginity. If tampons are still out of the question, have your parents write a note, and negotiate a time for you to make up the things you've missed.
Don't go in the pool if you are ill or are still recovering from being ill.
Try to have FUN! If you show you are embarrassed, people will remember truly embarrassing moments longer than if you just laugh it off!
